EastEnders Dr Yusef Khan (Ace Bhatti), is the dastardly Captain Hook, alongside Dancing On Ice star Jennifer Ellison as Peter Pan. Packed with Fe Fi Fo Fun, Laila Morse, known to millions as Mo Harris in EastEnders, heads the cast as the Fairy with children’s favourite, CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane in the role of hero, Jack. It’s a magical treat for the whole family with dancing, music and special effects, and a real live Giant played by Neil Fingleton, who is 7ft 7.56 inches, the tallest man in Europe and Guinness World Records holder.

Watch out for amazing 3D special effects, beautiful costumes and an abundance of comedy. Don’t miss this magic carpet ride, especially as EastEnders television bad-guy Steve McFadden is playing evil Abanazar. Alongside him will be Wishee Washee, played by comedian Matt Slack, who started his career in comedy and has latterly performed in the West End’s Blood Brothers. Other famous faces include Nicola Meehan as the Princess and Luke Newton as Aladdin.

Having been hailed by the British Theatre Guide in 2011 as ‘one of the best pantomimes in the country’, this Christmas show is a  not-to-be-missed family treat. Penned by Andrew Pollard, now preparing to play dame in his eighth Greenwich pantomime, Robin Hood with his band of merry men is the hero, righting wrongs and battling the evil Sheriff of Nottingham to save Maid Marian. The production will feature Greenwich favourites, including Paul Critoph who plays Friar Tuck and has appeared in as many Greenwich pantomimes as Andrew, and Anthony Spargo –  last year’s dastardly Abanazar, as the equally evil Sheriff.

Everything is going wrong in Santa’s grotto with presents muddled up, a missing polar bear, and the elves in a panic. In this interactive adventure, the children help to save Christmas, with stories and songs, by making decorations and there’s a chance to meet Father Christmas. Performances are scheduled at various times, with some afternoon audiences able to meet Father Christmas after the show.

Family favourite, Floella Benjamin leads the cast as the Fairy Godmother making wishes come true for Cinderella (Suzanne David). Other well known faces include Andrew Hayden-Smith from CBBC, who plays Buttons and John Lyons, from Frost, as Baron Hardup. To  capture the heart of Cinderella, there is of course a perfect Prince Charming.

This year’s spectacular is the classic rags to riches story which sees Dick travel to London to seek his fame and fortune. Not all goes according to plan, so be prepared to set sail to Morocco as Dick and his gang plan to save it from the evil King Rat. The professional cast of actors have CVs that span TV, film and theatre, music videos and pantomime performances across the country. Look out too for junior dancers from dance schools across Kent, who will also be appearing.

Janine Duvitski, better known as Angela in Abigail’s Party and the middle-aged swinger Jacqueline Stewart in ITV1’s Benidorm, will play the Wicked Queen. She is joined by Chris Pizzey, a veteran of panto and CBBC TV, who will play Muddles. Nick Wilton, from EastEnders will play the hilariously over-the-top Nursie.
