A MAN found dead in a house in Sidcup on Monday has been formally indentified as Lee Brooks.

An inquest has been opened into the death of the 35-year-old after emergency services were called to a house in Hurst Road on Monday morning.

A Bexley Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 8:30am on Monday, December 10 to a man unconscious at an address in Hurst Road, Sidcup.”

“London Ambulance Service attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Inquiries into his death continue to establish the circumstances.

“A post mortem will be carried out in due course and this is currently an unexplained death.”

A spokeswoman for South London Ambulance Service added: “An ambulance was called at 8.28am on December 10 to an address in Hurst Road.

“We sent a single responder in a car, an ambulance crew and a duty officer.

“Sadly the patient, a man, was dead at the scene.”

A Facebook tribute page to the Rowley Avenue resident was created on Monday and has received more than 1,000 likes.

Under the words “RIP Lee Brooks – you shall be missed” an array of tributes have been left.

Erol Mustafa said: “Brooksey mate....still can't think straight.....can still hear ya screaming me name out n driving me driving crackers”.

Steve Brooks added: “Feel sorry for the family at this time of year, a loss at Xmas is truly tragic! Rip”.

Tributes posted last night included this from Cockney Lioness Rebel: “I can’t believe u have gone u will be missed hun RIP LEE XX”.
