LEWISHAM police are looking for a 10-year-old Tidemill Academy pupil who has gone missing following a custody battle.
Chukwuxavier Nwobani-Akanwo was last seen at 3.30pm on Monday (Nov 26) at his school in Giffin Street, Deptford, when he was picked up by his 18-year-old sister.
Police say a recent court ruling gave custody of Chukwuxavier to his father.
His 48-year-old mother has since been arrested on suspicion of abduction but, though his sister has been located, Chukwuxavier remains missing.
He is described as black, from 5ft 4in to 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with short black afro-hair and a single plaited ponytail at the back of his head.
The boy was last seen wearing his school uniform which consists of a white shirt, blue jumper and black trousers.
Anyone who has information should call Lewisham missing person's unit on 020 8284 8480 or call Missing People on 116 000.
