FIREFIGHTERS got an early morning call this morning (November 28) when an electrical box caught fire in a block of flats in Gravesend.
A smoke alarm awoke the man sleeping in his home as smoke from the fire was seeping into his property and he got himself out before crews arrived at about 2.45am.
The crews spent around an hour dealing with the incident which occurred in a cupboard in the communal hallway of Homemead Court in Parrock Street.
They managed to stop the flames from spreading from the cupboard.
