A CHRISTMAS grotto and 4D cinema of festive films has launched in Lewisham Shopping Centre.
Families can take a break from shopping to see Santa in his toy-factory themed grotto.
Children were treated to the premiere of 4D film Santa’s Sleigh Ride at the centre’s launch event on November 24.
The cinema will open from December 1 to January 6 – minus Christmas Day and New Years Day – and Santa will be visiting on December 1, 2, 8, 9 and daily from 15 to 24.
Centre Manager at Lewisham Shopping Centre Paul Redden said: “The launch of the 4D cinema and Christmas grotto was fantastically festive and it was great to see so many local families at the centre.
"It was a brilliant start to the Christmas season and we are looking forward to the cinema and grotto’s official opening on Saturday 1st of December.”
