A FIRE in a flat in Great Harry Drive, New Eltham, is now under control.
Around 20 firefighters tackled the blaze - where 25 per cent of a fifth-floor flat was alight - after crews were called at 15.23pm.
A man was rescued from the building by officers and is being treated for smoke inhalation by the London Ambulance Service.
Four fire engines attended the scene.
