BEXLEY youngsters have been debating with health chiefs over priority issues facing the borough's teenagers.
Members of Bexley’s Youth Council, a voluntary organisation, met with the Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group to talk about the problems facing their peers.
The members claim smoking, drugs and sexual health are high on youngsters' agendas, as well as personal hygiene and feeling anxious about injections.
Twelve teens took part in the meeting including Dominic Pimlott, 15, from Beths Grammar School, and Erith School pupils Michelle Tiley, 17, and Funmbi Ogunrin, 15.
Bexley Council cabinet member for children’s services and community safety Councillor Katie Perrior said afterwards: "It is important that our young people can play their part in shaping the local health agenda, so that future services and provision can help meet their needs."
