AN ORPINGTON singing group is hitting all the right notes after their singing course was mentioned in the News Shopper.
During the six-week course which started last month, the participants sing in a four-part all-male harmony group and learn about sheet music at St Paul's Church Hall, in Crofton Road.
The Kentones have been encouraged by the response since appearing in the News Shopper and are enthusiastic about potential members applying in the future.
Public relations officer Peter Aylett said: "It’s a way of bringing people together - if people love music and love to sing there’s nothing better.
"I wish I had started it when I was much, much younger."
They are performing in a Christmas charity concert at The Glades, in the High Street in Bromley, on December 23, with proceeds going to the Jimmy Mizen Foundation, a charity which supports young people.
