This week we are trying to find homes for two single male rabbits who are in need of female company.
As Bailey and Marley are both neutered their bonding with females will be purely platonic.
Their foster carer Julie Baxter said: “Five-year-old Bailey’s companion died last month so he is quite lonely at the moment. A new life with a female rabbit would make him happy.
“Marley, lovely black rabbit has been with us since April. He is only 15 months old and in his first year was passed around from one owner to another. He is really friendly, loves company and would really benefit from finding a home with a female rabbit.
Marley and Bailey are being fostered by Anim-Mates in Catford.
If you could offer either of them a new home where there is already a neutered female, please call Julie on 07958 031884.
Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group serving south-east London run entirely by volunteers.
All the animals are cared for in the homes of foster carers who treat them as their own pets until they are re-homed.
All new homes are vetted.
To see all the animals in its care visit the charity’s website www.anim-mates.org.uk.
