A BESTSELLING author and Conservative peer has thrilled Bexleyheath with a visit.
Lord Michael Dobbs was the guest speaker at the Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association's annual dinner on Wednesday (OCT 31).
At the Bank Restaurant in Broadway the historical fiction and crime thriller writer spoke about his life in the Lords and his time working for Margaret Thatcher.
After the speech Lord Dobbs signed copies of his latest books 'A Reluctant Hero' and 'A Sentimental Traitor'.
The sold-out event was attended by 70 local pary members including Bexleyheath and Crayford MP David Evennett and his wife Marilyn and London MEPs Charles Tannock and Syed Kamall.
