HE MAY have lined up alongside Yohan Blake at London 2012 but Dartford sprinter Adam Gemili’s year is set to get even more exciting.
Adam has been chosen to turn on his hometown’s Christmas light display this year alongside Pop Idol winner Gareth Gates.
The duo will together complete the big switch on in the town centre on the afternoon of November 17.
Following a magic show and a Freddie Mercury tribute act, festive fans will enjoy a sing along with Gareth Gates before the high street is lit up.
Entertainment kicks off at 2:30pm and runs until 5:15pm.
