A SUNDAY bus service operating between Bexleyheath and Joydens Wood may be in the pipeline.

Proposals have been drawn up for a bus to follow the route of the Transport for London weekday B12 route between Bexleyheath marketplace and Leyton Cross, which serves the Joydens Wood estate.

The six-month trial service is proposed to operate every hour between 9am and 5pm using a 14-seater minibus.

Bexley councillors sitting on the transport users sub-committee have been working alongside Bexley Accessible Transport Scheme to consider the service.

During the trial six-month period, the route will be advertised and its future would be based on the uptake.

The proposal has been submitted to TfL buses to consider.
