Have your say in 15-year plan for New Ash Green
9:48am Friday 26th October 2012 in News By George Sargent
NEW Ash Green residents can have a say in the way their district is run for the next 15 years.
The District’s Community Plan sets out the aims and priorities of people running the area.
These include district and county councils, the health service, the police, fire service, housing associations together with voluntary groups, businesses and faith communities.
Staff from these groups will be coming to the Co-operative, in The Row, New Ash Green village centre, on Saturday (November 10) between 10am and 3pm.
Leader of Sevenoaks District Council, Peter Fleming, said: “The Community Plan shapes not only the District but the services that operate within it.
“Your views really do matter. They will help us to shape services in the District by identifying your priorities for action.
“I would urge New Ash Green residents to visit the council’s road show and have their say.”
People can also fill out a short questionnaire at sevenoaks.gov.uk/communityplan2012.
They will be entered into a free prize draw for £50 of shopping vouchers.
Paper copies of the survey can be found at sevenoaks.gov.uk/communityplan.
