Upper Brockley Road businesses shut down again by Lewisham police
THREE Brockley businesses will stay closed for another three months due to allegations of disorder and anti-social behaviour.
Super Cuts off licence, the Honeypot restaurant and Gold Crest plumbers in Upper Brockley Road were first shut down earlier this year following complaints.
Now Bromley magistrates have granted a further three month closure for the businesses - lasting until January 25.
Police Sergeant Jon Biddle from Brockley Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: "Since the initial closure orders were granted back in August we have seen a significant reduction in the number of complaints of anti social behaviour in this area.
"The majority of residents fully support the action that we have taken, this closure is part of our ongoing commitment to combat anti social behaviour and the drugs misuse associated with these three premises.
"With the properties now being closed for a further three months I hope the residents can continue to enjoy the peace and quiet they deserve."
