A CAMPAIGN group held a demonstration outside Princess Royal University Hospital to protest about the handling of the South London Healthcare NHS Trust

The handful of activists held placards and spoke to passerbys about the state of the health trust which went into administration after incurring debts of £150 million.

Trust Special Administrator Matthew Kershaw was tasked with devising recommendations for what should be done with the ailing trust, which includes the hospital in Farnborough, and is due to publish these on Monday (Oct 29).

Following this there will be a public consultation between November to mid December.

Campaigner Judith Wright, of Kynaston Road, Bromley, said: "We got a really good response from people and not everybody knew about the bankruptcy."

"I don’t think the trust should be sold off to private companies - we all need to respond to the consultation to give our views."
