TOWN centre shoppers have had the chance to buy a little bit of the Mediterranean.
Dartford town centre turned exotic on October 3 as it welcomed its latest Italian market.
The High Street hosted colourful stalls overflowing with fresh produce which included olive oil, breads, pastries, cheeses, olives, fresh pasta, pizza, cured meats, dried fruit and wine.
Councillor Patsy Thurlow, portfolio holder for the town centre, said the Italian market was well attended when it visited the town two years ago.
Mrs Thurlow said: "Our specialty markets are always very popular.
"We are always looking to expand the range of our markets and the taste of Italy was most welcome."
