THE Bennetts British Superbike championship season draws to a close at Brands Hatch and with two races still remaining, the rivalry has been intensified as every rider wants to end the season in a blaze of glory.

Shane "Shakey" Byrne may have secured his second BSB title, but he has an army of riders ready to take him on for the final victories of 2008.

The Airwaves Ducati rider will want to top off his title with a double win at his home circuit, but will first have to fend off the challenges from his rivals.

Leon Haslam may have missed out on the title, but expect the HM Plant Honda to be ready for a dogfight at Brands Hatch.

The "Pocket Rocket" intends on rounding his season out in style having been so dominant in the previous rounds, winning five of the last seven races, and will be determined to cross the finish line first.

Rizla Suzuki's Tom Sykes will want to leave BSB on a high as he heads off to the World Superbike championship having secured one of the best rides for next season and with confidence high, he will settle for nothing less than a victory.

Cal Crutchlow arrives at Brands with fond memories following a win at the circuit back in May, but with pride at stake this is the last time all of the riders will go head-to-head and it will be a tough task for the HM Plant Honda rider to repeat history.

Double World Superbike champion James Toseland will be taking time out of his hectic MotoGP schedule to come and witness the action and to meet his legion of supporters at the event on October 10, October 11 and October 12.

There is also a unique opportunity to meet all of your BSB heroes at a special BSB riders meet the fans autograph session on raceday.
