A BLAZE in a derelict sports pavilion was tackled by 30 firefighters over the weekend.
The flames caused part of the roof to collapse and much of the building in Sweyn Place, Kidbrooke, was damaged.
Crews from Lewisham, Greenwich, East Greenwich, Plumstead, Lee Green and Eltham battled the fire for around three-and-a-half hours after being called at 7.53pm on Saturday (September 6).
The cause is under investigation.
