A TELEGRAPH pole was left leaning dangerously close to a house after a road accident in St Paul's Cray yesterday.
Firefighters from Sidcup, Orpington and Bexley were called to the two car collision at around 8.40am at the junction of Sevenoaks Way and Midfield Way.
But the five people involved, including two children, were all out of their cars by the time the emergency services arrived.
All five were taken to hospital but the nature of their injuries is not yet known.
One of the cars struck a nearby telegraph pole but it is not yet known whether this happened before or after the collision with the other vehicle.
The road was closed while firefighters secured the telegraph pole to make sure it did not topple over.
