A CRASH victim's friend says the news about his death still has not sunk in.

Craig Duffett, from Sidcup, was a passenger in a red Ford Focus when it overturned at around 12.15am on Saturday morning (August 30).

The 17-year-old died at the scene.

Two other passengers and the driver were taken to hospital after the incident in Stelling Minnis, near Canterbury.

They have all since been released from hospital.

Kayleigh Edwards first met Craig about seven years ago when they used to hang around on the streets.

She says despite laying flowers at Crayford Town Hall, where their group of friends met up, she still cannot believe he has gone.

The 17-year-old said: "He was always up for a laugh and he would always try and make everyone laugh.

"The other day everyone went and put flowers down in Crayford and it is like you cannot cry because it does not seem real.

"There are a lot of memories and I just remember him pissing about and having a laugh."

Ms Edwards, of Cruden Road, Gravesend, added: "It is a shock and it is weird that he has gone.

"It was only the other day when I saw him.

"When the funeral happens it will sink in then."

I did not know craig but have seen the flowers & tributes that show how much he was loved. The death of someone so young is tragic no matter what theyve done. And those who love him do not need to see comments like the one added by ben, those words cant hurt craig, only his family & friends who are already suffering.

What is it with the adding extra letters at the end of everything? Or did your Y and H button get stuck? Is it to look cool? It's beyond me.
RIP Craig
