FIREFIGHTERS were called to several "suspicious" fires across the News Shopper area overnight.
A crew from Dartford spent around 20 minutes putting out a fence panel which was alight in parkland near Heath Lane (Lower), Dartford.
The panel is believed to have been removed from a fence before it was set on fire.
Police attended the incident which took place at around 1.15am but did not find the culprits.
Crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich and Lee Green fire stations battled a fire at a derelict sports pavilion for around two hours last night (August 26).
They were called to the incident just off Blackheath Park, Blackheath, at 8.30pm.
