Student murders: Items missing from flat
 |
| Student Laurent Bonomo's stabbed body was found at the scene |
POLICE investigating the murder of two French students in New Cross have released details of items they believe were stolen from the flat.
Laurent Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez, both 23, were murdered in a bedsit in Sterling Gardens, rented by Mr Bonomo.
Police say they were bound and repeatedly stabbed on Sunday (June 29) before the bedsit, which had been burgled less than a week before, was set alight.
On June 23 between 5am and 6am, Mr Bonomo's black Packard Bell laptop was stolen from the bedsit while he was in the shower.
Detective Chief Inspector Mick Duthie, who is leading the investigation, said two games consoles are also missing from the flat.
He said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who has recently been offered the laptop and two personal game consoles, or knows someone who has unexpectedly come to have them.
"The search of the address is not yet completed, but we have established that two Sony PSPs are missing and believe they were taken during the incident on Sunday when the two men were killed."
Anyone with information should call 020 8721 4155 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111.

Life is so cheap in London now, lose your life for a couple of PSPs unbelievable, probably been swapped for a bag of skunk weed by now. I think the reputation of this country abroad must be one of lawlessness.

[bold]Wouldn't be appropriate for the people of New Cross to show a collective response of heartfelt support over this terrible event? So far I have sen nothing. Maybe it would help ease the pain of those poor French families![/bold]
