Mystery body named
THE MYSTERY body found at a recycling depot in Crayford has been identified by police.
The dead man has been named as 17-year-old Nathan Lyons from the Birmingham area.
Police launched a murder investigation after Mr Lyons' body was found at Viridor's Materials Recycling Facility in Century Wharf on Tuesday (May 13).
It arrived in a truckload of waste from Redditch.
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Mr Lyons on Thursday is still in police custody, after police were granted a warrant of further detention by magistrates today.
Police want to hear from anyone who had contact with Mr Lyons in the past month.

Good god whatever next this child is nothing but a baby,17 years old, my heart goes out to all his family and friends, I do hope that they get the person who did this to dump a body of a child coz thats what he was in a dump is the lowest of the low. R.I.P Nathan, i didnt know you but i feel for the people left behind with this heartache.
