Torturer locked up
 |
| Xiang Lin threatened to kill a mother's children unless she gave him more money |
AN ILLEGAL immigrant from China who tied up, tortured and robbed his former boss and her children has been jailed.
Xiang Lin was arrested in his car in Kitchener Avenue, Gravesend, on June 2 last year after a two-week search by Kent police.
The 39-year-old was one of three masked men who broke into a plush four-bedroom home in Horsham, Sussex, on May 18 last year.
They tied up and gagged his former boss at a Chinese restaurant and her teenage son and daughter.
Lin, who was living in Gravesend at the time, then used a 50,000 volt stun gun to apply electric shocks to all three of them for an hour before leaving with jewellery and more than £8,000 in cash.
He was jailed for 12 years on May 5 at Lewes Crown Court in Sussex.
The court heard how one of Lin's accomplices has since been murdered by the gangsters who brought him into the country, while the other has fled back to China.
The gang broke into the home through a window and woke up the family by punching them, putting guns in their faces or threatening them with screwdrivers.
Prosecutor John Price said: "The family were subjected to sadistic torture.
"At one stage the leader of the gang became angrier than ever with the mother and threatened the lives of her children if she did not say where more money was.
"He said: You had better come up with it now or your children will die'."
Towards the end of the raid, the gang grabbed a photograph of the family.
Mr Price told the court: "They said they were taking the photo so if they went to the police they would know how to identify them and would make arrangements to kill them."
Lin, who pleaded guilty to robbery and possessing a fake handgun, was caught after a fingerprint left on the window he climbed through was matched to a central database.
Judge Anthony Scott-Gall told him: "You subjected the victims to pain and terror."
He recommended Lin should be deported after finishing his sentence.

[bold]Xiang Lin[/bold] should be hanged and THEN deported to the nearest shallow pit.
Instead of that, let's pay for his stay in one of Her Majesty's holiday camps.
Hi-de-hi taxpayers!

It is a disgrace. This man had nothing. He came here to work illegally and he disrespected and terrorised his boss. Just get him out of our country and take any of his mates with him. Go back to your own country where your Government can deal with this rubbish. Let this also be a lesson to learn for those who also/still employ illegal immigrants.

Yet another monumental waste of the taxpayers money!!! Why can this government not deport scum like this and his ilk instead of spending our cash to keep him here. He is here illegally in the first place. Whats the betting that when he is released in 12 years time he won't be deported back. Lets hope his gangster mates catch up with him and do what they did to his sick friend.

Send him back to where he came from infact round up all the immigrants in our prisons and send them all back to where they came from then we would be able to house the offenders that actually do come from England - if he was in his native land of china they would probably have cut off his hands!!!

On the BBC news a few weeks ago they said that it costs up to 10 grand to deport an illegal immigrant and who pays for this, no doubt us.
He should just be put to death now and save a lot of money and paperwork.

If they send him back he will probably be on the next boat back (or in the back of a lorry), Just do the right thing, torture him then finish him off! He clearly thought it was ok so just give him some of his own treatment.
