Man who fell from car park is named

POLICE have named a man who died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Gravesend.

John Day, aged 20, of Grange Road, Gravesend, fell from the Thamesgate Centre at around 7pm on May 6.

Ambulance crews attended and took him to Darent Valley Hospital where he later died.

Police are investigating the death but are not treating it as suspicious.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Friday (May 9).
