If you’re someone who runs on autopilot in the mornings and can’t help grabbing a coffee on the way to work, you may be shocked by how much your caffeine addiction is actually costing you.

If Starbucks is your outlet of choice you could be spending £663 a year. Other high street chains don't come much cheaper.
Going to somewhere like a Wetherspoon or Subway could help keep the cost down, as could downsizing your cup or saying no to those extras - or you could skip it altogether.
Buddy Loans, which has produced the findings, reckons if you switch from buying that cup of coffee out to just drinking the office coffee, you could afford almost two holidays from the savings.
There’s some food – or at least some hot beverage – for thought!
