Farting in front of your partner or leaving the loo door open yet? You, my friend, are officially in the comfort zone.

Don’t worry, it’s not necessarily a bad thing – it could be a sign your relationship has serious potential.

A study has found relationships hit the comfort zone after 11 months and 24 days when couples finally get used to sharing their life and living space with each other.

These are the top 10 signs cited as good markers for a relationship lasting the pace:

  1. Not wearing make-up
  2. Not locking the bathroom door
  3. Wearing pyjamas/lounge wear
  4. Breaking wind in front of them
  5. Not shaving your legs/face
  6. Wearing your less attractive/non-matching underwear
  7. Doing his/her laundry
  8. Going to the toilet with the door open
  9. Confiding in them over health concerns
  10. Letting them look after you when you’re ill

Other comfort zone signs outside the top 10 include being happy to have a conversation while naked, telling your partner when they’re a bit smelly and asking them to squeeze a spot.

For the number one sign, the average woman polled said she’d go around four months before going make-up free around her partner.
