It looks like some Dartfordians have settled down for their Christmas break already.
In fact, while five of his friends were busy hunting in the Thames this morning, this furry friend of north Kent was busy soaking up the fresh winter air.
A member of the UK nature group Wildlife Sightings posted this snap to Twitter this morning.
The picture shows the seal flanked by a black-headed gull in winter plumage in Dartford Marshes.
The tweet reads: "Lovely morning, walked across #Dartford marshes to the #Thames was rewarded with 6 Seals."
