Steak and chips is now on the menu at this Chislehurst pub that has been reopened as a steakhouse.
The Bickley reopened last Friday, May 26, as The Bickley Pub and Steakhouse following major renovation and refurbishment.
The spruced up interior now has a fresh and contemporary new look in the dining room, bar areas and garden, say the owners.
More importantly, the menu has a new steakhouse focus, with all kinds of fancy steaks alongside Sunday roasts and other hearty meals.
The menu includes 28 day aged rump, sirloid, fillet and rib eye steak, as well as lamb chops, BBQ ribs and t-bone pork.
You can also have hand-pressed burgers, fish and chips, fish pie and vegetarian options.
Mark Draper, executive director at Redcomb Pubs which run the pub, said: “The Bickley has long been a popular focal point of Chislehurst, with the site here dating back to the 1870s.
“Since taking over the running of the pub in 2013 we’ve worked hard to continue this legacy and have consistently redefined our offering to reflect the needs and aspirations of our local customer base.
“We’re not shying away from any of our proper pub credentials but instead feel we are embellishing and adding to them with a new menu that concentrates on great steaks and classic dishes that are good value and cooked to perfection.”
