A French bistro and deli that’s been a hit in Covent Garden and Brixton is heading to Greenwich.
Champagne + Fromage, will open at Greenwich Market in June, selling more than 50 hard and soft cheeses as well as 25 types of bubbly in its secret cellar and French foods in its to eat in or take away.

Run by husband and wife team Stefano and Maud alongside cheese expert Franck Le Blais, Champagne + Fromage first opened as a pop-up that turned permanent in Covent Garden in 2011.
It sparked controversy in 2013 when it opened a second outlet in Brixton, which prompted protests against gentrification of the area and to keep ‘Yuppies out’.
Despite that, both of its bar-bistro-delis score highly with diners and have exemplary ratings on Trip Advisor.
