Four fashionistas are celebrating new found fame after being selected as the Faces of Greenwich Shopping Park 2012.

Paige Wills, Kemar Scott, Natalie Strong and Anita Sokhal will front a Real Life Style campaign which aims to show people how to achieve fashionable and wearable looks that work with their personal style and budget.

For the second year running the Park and its 13 retailers teamed up with News Shopper to find stylish shoppers to represent its high street fashion campaign.

Since launching in November, an impressive number of entries from across south-east London poured in for four categories – teens, twenties, thirties and forties plus – each trying to prove they best embody high street style.

Paige, a 16-year-old student at The Eltham Foundation School, was picked to represent her age group.

She entered the campaign for her love of fashion and ambition to become a model and her youthful, fresh look, evident in her school prom picture which she submitted with her entry, impressed the judges.

Paige said: “I think people my age are starting to take fashion more seriously and I can’t wait to represent my age group in the borough.

“I love the clothes in H&M, New Look and River Island and I’m really looking forward to trying out a variety of new styles.

“It’s given me a huge confidence boost and my mum’s really proud of me!”

Kemar, 20, from Catford works part-time at New Look at the Park and caught the judges’ attention with his unique sense of style and ability to mix contemporary items with an urban edge to create a vibrant and distinctive look.

He said: “People in my age group often get a bad reputation so I’m really proud to be able to show that young people can do positive things and have creative careers in modelling and fashion.

“My colleagues at New Look are so excited that I’m going to be a Face of the Park.”

Mum of two Natalie, 38, from Greenwich runs The Wonder Women Network in the borough. She was selected for her quirky, vintage fashion sense.

She said: “I’m delighted to have been selected as the Face for the thirties category when I’m less than two years off turning 40.”

Local businesswoman, Anita, 49, from Blackheath was nominated for the campaign by her daughter, Priya who described her as trendiest member of the family.

Anita said: “It was a real surprise to hear I’d been put forward for the fashion campaign, not to mention being selected as one of the winners.

“I love spending time pulling together outfits and accessories at the Park and my 27-year-old daughter often steals my clothes.

“As a local beauty therapist, I help women feel great about their looks and believe that a good dress sense is key to feeling good.”

In their new roles, the Fashion Faces took part in a photo-shoot, followed by a professional fashion shoot at a south east London studio, where they were styled by representatives from the Park’s fashion stores and given a glamorous make-over.

They will feature in Greenwich Shopping Park’s promotional and marketing activity throughout the year and will be awarded £200 worth of shopping vouchers to spend at the Park.
