Opera stars from across Europe are heading to Dartford on May 3 for an extravagant show, and you could have a walk-on part.

Award winning producer Ellen Kent is bringing Verdi’s masterpiece La Traviata to the Orchard Theatre with sumptuous sets and costumes.

We are offering one lucky competition winner the chance to appear in the Act One ballroom scene with a friend, plus a pair of tickets and a souvenir programme.

You won’t need to sing or speak, you’ll just be part of a party, and will have to dance the Waltz (or something similar, nothing too complex!)

Winners will need to arrive by 5.30pm and will be given instructions and directions by the show’s stage manager.

Men should bring black shoes, black shoes, black trousers and a white shirt while women should ideally bring their own white or cream shoes without any high heels.

They will be rehearsed with the rest of the company on the day.

The winner will be chosen and notified on April 30.

La Traviata is at The Orchard Theatre at 7.30pm on Sunday, May 3. Go to orchardtheatre.co.uk for tickets.
