Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt impress The O2 with The Mighty Boosh Live Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt impress The O2 with The Mighty Boosh Live

The Mighty Boosh don’t disappoint 18-year-old uber fan Rachael Claire from Eltham, when they bring their surreal live comedy show to The O2, Greenwich

December 17 was the best night of my whole year. Why, you ask? Four words; The Mighty Boosh Live.

The most fabulous, glamorous and amazing live show Boosh fans of any age could ask for.

Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, the funniest most talented double act ever bought to London, are two great men with wild and glittery imaginations.

You can expect plenty of laughs at this show and, although my sides hurt so much afterwards, I really wanted to just rewind and watch it again.

It felt just like the great shows they do on TV but up close and even more fantastic.

The show is filled with characters old and new; the moon teams up with the Hitcher and his Eels to make their own show, The Boosh Band’s set is amazing and mind boggling, there is the scary, but cute in his own little way, Crack Fox followed by the best bloke with eight tentacles ever, Mr Tony Harrison. Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher) gets the crowd going with his dance lessons, which were far better than recent routines from Britney Spears and Madonna.

Bollo (Dave Brown) and Naboo (Michael Fielding) showcase their new-found rapping skills to very impressive effect.

Expect crimps galore at the number one live show to hit The O2 this year. Just don’t try and steal their crimping and put in into an advert (“RIP Honey Monster” they say at one point) Noel, Julian and the rest of the Boosh - and I think I speak for all of the fans out there when I say this - thank you for a great night. It was the best.

I have a friend who's going to go see this, and he just won't shut up about it...he'll come back and won't have another thing on his mind! It must be pretty funny.
I think I'll take his word for it.
