Gadget: ASUS UnLimited Notebook range launches

The lightweight and ultra-slim ASUS UL series of notebooks are making their high street debut this weekend.

The computers are available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse, and an 'UnLimited' promo event is taking place at the Oxford Street branch tomorrow (Nov14) to celebrate the launch.

You can pose in front of a Utah backdrop and be entered into a competition to win a trip for two to the American Wild West.

If you can’t go along to the event go online for your chance to win one of five Asus UL30 UnLimited laptops between now and January 4.

The new ASUS UL series is billed as "combining the most exquisite design with advanced technology and connectivity, all in an amazing ultra-slim light package".

Features include up to 12 hours of battery life, Altec Lansing HD speakers, an anti-dust big-gap keyboard and multi-touch pad, plus HD widescreen displays ranging in sizes from 13.3in to 15.6in.

The notebooks run on Dual Core Intel® Processor, GraphiX Boost technology and Windows 7 operating system. They have up to 500GB storage.

Prices start at £449 or £40 a month with mobile broadband on contract.
