DOUBLE Laurence Olivier Award-winner Janie Dee will star with Aden Gillett and Robert Portal in a dazzling revival of the 1950s smash hit comedy The Little Hut at Greenwich Theatre this month.
Adapted by Nancy Mitford from the French by André Roussin, this is the barnstorming marital farce about a husband, wife and wife’s lover shipwrecked on a tropical island.
The stars of the show posed for photographs at Greenwich's National Maritime Museum which is also celebrating the opening of its new exhibition Shipwreck Stories.
After running for more than 1,500 performances in Paris and three years in the West End, it was made into an MGM vehicle for Ava Gardner, David Niven and Stewart Granger
The Little Hut. Greenwich Theatre, Crooms Hill, Greenwich. April 20 to April 24. 020 8858 7755.
