Carole Hoggan reviews Abba Mania and says Thank you for the Music

Although there was no storyline, the musical stage production Abba Mania was a Super Trouper tribute to all of Abba's timeless hits.

The show - now nearly in its tenth year - opened with Waterloo and by the fourth song, Mamma Mia, the entire audience was on its feet singing and dancing and at the end of the show people were still standing.

Abba Mania was a Super Trouper tribute to all of Abba's timeless hits.

Some 21 Abba hits were belted out during the performance and if you closed your eyes it seemed like you were listening to the real thing.

What's especially amazing is, even if you are not a die-hard fan, you know a few words from each song.

The attention to detail with the costumes, hair and make-up was equally impressive. Not only did the cast sound like Abba, they looked and spoke like them too.

Plenty of audience participation left everyone feeling as good as a Dancing Queen.

This is a show that appeals to all the family - whatever your age, with plenty of audience participation leaving everyone feeling as good as a Dancing Queen.
