A TWENTY foot steel cage from which there is no escape will be just another day at the office for a group of wrestlers hitting Gravesend next week.

Woodville Halls will play host to an Superslam Wrestling crew including Rampage Brown and Robbie Dynamite against Dean Allmark and a mystery partner.

Wirral-based Allmark earned the right to select his own tag partner after winning an over-the-top-rope rumble event and everyone will be in the dark until they actually enter the arena.

Brown and Dynamite established themselves as British tag title holders last year and have also had plenty of solo success.

Brown enjoyed a long run as Superslam champion after action in the United States with WWE, while Dynamite, campaigning out of Stoke on Trent, has so far seen off all challengers to his status as British mid-heavyweight number one.

After last month's bill attracted Gravesend's biggest crowd in years with the Woodville Hall more than 90 per cent full, there will be an exciting twist this time with the ring enclosed in that huge cage.

Set for Gravesend action for the first time will be UK Kid Tom Johnson from Hampshire and imposing Asian contender Leon Shah, not to mention Sussex heavyweight flier Danny Driscoll.

The big bill will have an international flavour thanks to Sam Adonis, the 24 year-old from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Tickets are now on sale at the Woodville Hall box office by calling 01474 337774 – including a special £45 offer covering two adults and two children under 16 – and will be available at the door on the night.
