HOLLYWOOD actor Steve Guttenberg is trying his costume on for size as he prepares to make the trip from the States to Bromley.
The 1980s film star, who is best known for his roles in the Police Academy series and Three Men and a Baby, will play Baron Hardup in Cinderella at The Churchill theatre this Christmas.
He is looking forward to being part of the pantomime which runs from December 5 to January 18.
Mr Guttenberg, 50, said: ""I am looking forward to the honour and the fun of performing in Bromley.
"There is everything an actor needs to practice his craft with an entertaining show and a talented cast.
"I appreciate being invited to participate in such a time honoured tradition."
The Churchill's chief executive Derek Nicholls said: "Steve was one of the biggest movie stars of 1980s, and it's amazing to think that news of Bromley's renowned panto has made its way to the Hollywood Hills."
Also confirmed to appear in the production is comedian Helen Lederer.
She has appeared in television shows including Absolutely Fabulous and The Young Ones and will bring some magic and comedy to the role of Fairy Godmother.
Nickelodeon's Laura Hamilton is believed to be reprising her role as Cinderella in the show.
The Sydenham resident was a great success in the part when the pantomime was last staged at The Churchill during the 2005 Christmas season.
