WITH an alumni which includes names such as Jude Law and Prince Caspian star Ben Barnes, the forthcoming National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) production could be your chance to spot a star of the future. The esteemed theatre group is coming to Greenwich Theatre this week for five performances of Whistle Down the Wind.
The piece, a musical about faith, conviction and the fragile optimism of youth, is perfect for the NYMT, which is committed to supporting young people in music and education.
As if former cast members were not inspiring enough, director Paul Hegarty was an Olivier Award-nominated Sweeney Todd.
Whistle Down the Wind at Greenwich Theatre, Crooms Hill, Greenwich. August 13 to August 16. Call 020 8858 7755.
