All the world’s a stage, but it is unlikely this is quite what the Bard had in mind.

To celebrate 400 years since William Shakespeare’s death, his work will be performed at the top of the O2 in Greenwich.

Having climbed the 52 metres to the summit of the dome, urban mountaineers will be treated to a taste of Shakespeare courtesy of theatre group Grassroots Shakespeare, complete with Elizabethan costume, on Saturday, March 26.

Set against London’s skyline, the show will include tasters from the likes of Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet and a sneak preview of their latest production, Twelfth Night, which opens at Leicester Square Theatre in April.

A taste of Shakespeare Up at The O2 is from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, March 26. Go to theo2.co.uk/upattheo2
