Former Charles Darwin School pupil Alexis Gerred is one of the show’s stars, alongside X Factor finalist Amelia Lily.
We asked Alexis what entertains him when he’s not on stage himself…

MUSIC
The radio station I listen to…
I don't really. I tend to stick to what I know. My musical tastes and influences are all in the past. Nothing better for me than my iPod playlist, it does now contain a lot of Green Day now though.
My favourite band…
Queen. I would have been outcast from my family if I hadn't taken a shine to them.
But also I'm a big fan of Rod Stewart, Paul Rogers, Michael Jackson and now Green Day.
I'll be saying them a lot from now on - I always liked them but since doing the West End version of American Idiot, I'm now a huge fan.
The album or song I can’t get enough of right now…
My favourite album is My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello. I always play it. Odd considering my favourite artists, right? That album just, oddly, strikes a chord with me.
My favourite place to hear live music….
Live Theatre. Rock shows. There's no better place. It's intimate, personal and crammed with preparation.
My favourite festival memory…
Hard Rock Calling. VIP tickets to see Rod Stewart. Massive buzz.
THEATRE AND COMEDY
I always laugh at…
Greg Davies. But our boys’ dressing room has been constant David Brent (The Office) quotes since we started. So...
The best play I have seen…
I haven't seen many, I must say. I admire actors and straight plays but I'm all about big vocals, multiple guitars and heavy drums.
My all-time favourite musical…
We Will Rock You, Rock Of Ages, American Idiot. Couldn't separate them.
My favourite place to watch a show…
The Churchill is special to me. Bromley is where I grew up. It's where it always watched touring shows... And ultimately dreamed of performing there. BOOM. Dream becomes reality.
TV AND FILM
My favourite movie is…
It depends what mood I'm in. Star Wars? Wolf of Wall Street? The Shawshank Redemption? I even am partial to chick flicks.
As a kid I loved…
Blue Peter!
I’ll make a point of staying in to watch…
The Walking Dead.
