Fans of Footloose will be able to cut loose with a free line-dancing workshops in north Kent to tie in with the show’s appearance in Dartford.

Based on the 1984 movie starring Kevin Bacon, Footloose: The Musical is the story about a city boy who has to move to a rural backwater where dancing is banned. It is at The Orchard Theatre, Dartford, from February 8 to 13 and stars Maureen Nolan and Gareth Gates.

The theatre is working in partnership with Dance Generation to organise some fun family dance sessions. The next is at Tree Community Centre in Cedar Road, Dartford, from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Sunday (January 24) and the final one is one is at the Orchard Theatre from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, January 31.
