Beckenham’s former EastEnders actor Jamie Foreman is set to star in the West End.
Foreman, whose credits include Layer Cake and Roman Polanski’s Oliver Twist, will play Arthur in Mrs Henderson Presents at the Noel Coward Theatre from February 9.
He will join a cast including double Olivier Award winner Tracie Bennett and Olivier nominees Ian Bartholomew, Emma Williams.
Based on the 2005 film starring Bob Hoskins, Judi Dench and Christopher Guest, Mrs Henderson Presents is set in 1937 where a recently widowed eccentric opens a theatre with attractions including The Windmill Girls, glamorous women posing as nude statues.
