Dartford will be the first place in the world to host the new Peppa Pig live theatre show.
The Orchard Theatre gets the world premiere of Peppa Pig’s Surprise from October 23 to 25.
The show is the kids’ TV character’s seventh consecutive year of touring and the fourth different production.
Created by children’s theatre company Fiery Lights, the show features songs and life-sized puppets and is aimed at pre-schoolers.
Richard Lewis is in charge of adapting the hit TV show for the stage and also directs. He said: “It hardly seems like six years since we first started on the first Peppa Pig live stage show and we had no idea we’d now be working on our fourth touring theatre production. It’s been an incredible experience seeing the children’s reactions, not only in the UK but throughout the world and it just confirms that Peppa really is a worldwide phenomenon’
