Open auditions are being held for a part in the stage show of David Walliams’ acclaimed children’s book Gangsta Granny when it comes to the Orchard Theatre in Dartford from November 26 to 29.

Though, there will be no lines, a 16-year-old female dancer will get to perform a short solo dance piece in the Strictly Come Dancing scene.

The auditions will be held at the Orchard from 11am on Tuesday, August 18, where dancers will be asked to perform a two minute solo, preferably in the ballroom style, in front of a panel of judges.

They’ll need to provide their own music through an iPod connection.

Ideally the young dancer will be available for all performances and will be required to attend a technical rehearsal prior to the run.
