Bromley Comedy Club was packed out on Saturday for a highly entertaining evening of mirth.

The popular weekly gig in the Churchill Theatre enjoyed three fine acts, all ably compered by northern MC Marian Pashley.

Opening act Stefano Paolini touched on his background as a former bad boy growing up in Brixton, delivering a very impressive range of human beatbox sounds with the mic.

The bearded and spectacled Paul McGarrity was next up and offered an insight what life as a 30-year-old hipster lookalike is like, even if he hadn’t planned to become one when growing his facial fair.

Finally, headliner John Ryan had the crowd in stitches with his cheeky chappy cockney persona who wasn’t afraid to interact with the audience with some near the knuckle lines.

All in all, this was a great night out consisting of professional comedians at a local venue.

And the laughter just keeps on coming as this Saturday sees a special anti Valentine’s night with Simon Munnery, followed the following weekend by an appearance from Capital radio DJ Greg Burns.
