High flying acrobats, daring fire tricks and the chance to learn the ropes yourself will all form part of Greenwich Circus Festival next month.
The festival – a fundraiser for Hangar Arts Trust in Harrington Way – will celebrate all things circus over two days on December 6 and 7.
The programme has been split into two – the day schedule for families and a night time geared more towards grown ups.
During the day, there will be shows from the Circus of Dreams, workshops and acrobatic clown shows. Bon Appetite will showcase bite-sized circus cabaret.
Visitors can also take part in workshops to learn skills like flying trapeze or juggling.
The evenings, from 7pm to 10pm, will see the full-time students from the AirCraft Circus School’s two courses perform as well as pros performing the likes of acrobalance, aerial hoops with a rollerskating twist and a fire finale.
Adult tickets cost £15 for the day, £20 for the night and £28 for both.
