Big bundle of bunny, Haroldina, is Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre’s pet of the week

Big bunny Haroldina was dumped in Animal Rescue Centre’s car park on a very warm day, so when she was found she was dehydrated and in desperate need of water.

The charity's Small Animal Team call Haroldina the 'gentle giant' and think she would make a wonderful pet.

She is quite a large rabbit and will need a decent size hutch, at least 1.8m (6ft), as well as a very large run. Like all rabbits, she would be happiest with at least one other rabbit, otherwise she may become lonely and depressed.

If you are interested in offering Haroldina a home, or you would like to see the many other dogs, cats and small animals currently at Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre, visit foalfarm.org.uk or call 01959 572 386.

If you’re unable offer a home to an animal but would like to help the charity in another way, there are plenty of other options, such as sponsoring a resident animal, making a donation, organising a fundraising event or by volunteering your time.

About Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre

Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre is a registered animal welfare charity located in Jail Lane, Biggin Hill.

The charity finds new homes for hundreds of lost and unwanted animals across the South East and London every year and has up to 200 animals waiting to be re-homed at any one time.

All animals are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given any other medical treatment necessary. No healthy animal is ever destroyed, and if no home can be found the animal becomes a resident at Foal Farm for the rest of its life. The charity relies entirely on public donations.
