TIME is running out for feline enthusiasts who want to enter their pet into a cat show in Swanley.

People have until April 25 to enter their cat into the show held at the White Oak Leisure Centre in Hilda May Avenue on May 12 and May 13.

The event is being run by The Garden of England Cat Club, a national association that promotes the welfare of cats.

Owners and breeders will be on hand to talk about the various breeds, including Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest Cats, Bengals, Persians and Ocicats.

Cats will be divided into categories according to breed and judged on best male cat, best female cat, male neuter, female neuter, junior and kitten.

A best in show of each category will then be selected, before judges decide on a best of the best overall winner.

The event is open for the public to attend and costs £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for children.
