Shannon is a young female cat found dumped in a park.
After initially being very nervous, she is now more relaxed in the company of people but is wary of being touched and can swipe to warn people off if she is worried.
It is thought she has been badly treated and that it will continue to take time for her to overcome her psychological scars.
Shannon will require a very kind and patient new home to help learn to trust people again.
To inquire about Shannon, or to find out about other animals, call the Celia Hammond Animal Trust on 0208 694 6545.
